Im Epic Games Store gibt es jede Woche ein oder mehr kostenlose Spiele oder Zusätze. Kurz vor Weihnachten wird es immer besonders interessant, da man sich dann in der Regel ein paar Top-Titel gratis sichern kann. Im letzten Jahr gab es insgesamt 16 kostenlose Spiele in der Aktion mit den geheimnisvollen Spielen. Geheimnisvoll, weil Epic die Titel nicht wie sonst schon vorab zeigt. Das macht es natürlich deutlich spannender und erinnert ein wenig an die klassischen Adventskalender.
Und heute gibt es dann schon Spiel 6. So bekommt ihr aktuell das Spiel Paradise Killer kostenlos. Das Spiel verbleibt dauerhaft in eurem Konto, sobald ihr es euch gesichert habt. Dafür habt ihr noch bis zum 23. Dezember um 17 Uhr Zeit. Danach folgt dann schon das nächste geheimnisvolle Spiel in diesem Jahr. Ab jetzt gibt es wieder täglich neue Spiele. Paradise Killer ist ein Open-World-Mystery-Detektivspiel, in dem du als Ermittler in einer surrealen, stilisierten Welt eine komplexe Mordserie aufklärst. Du sammelst Hinweise, befragst Verdächtige, kombinierst Beweise und stellst deine eigene Theorie zusammen – frei und ohne lineare Vorgaben.
Das Spiel erschien 2020 für den PC und erhielt überwiegend sehr positive Bewertungen. Gelobt wird besonders die kreative Welt, das nonlineare Gameplay und die Freiheit bei der Aufklärung, während vereinzelte Kritikpunkte kleinere technische Aspekte oder UI-Elemente betreffen. Insgesamt bietet Paradise Killer ein einzigartiges, auf Erkundung und Deduktion fokussiertes Spielerlebnis.
